Nextep Co / Websites and lead systems for QLD trades
Someone just searched for your trade.
That was this morning, and they rang whoever looked like they would pick up first. I build Queensland trades the website that wins that moment, and a lead system that texts the job to your phone before they close the tab.
Seven trade sites built in July · Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Gold Coast · ABN 12 984 567 148
02What you get
Five things.
All of them included.
-
01
A site built for your trade, not a template with your logo dropped in
Your photos, your suburbs, your reviews, the jobs you actually do. Built by hand, one at a time, off your real Google profile. If it could belong to any other business in your trade, I have not done my job.
-
02
A lead system that texts you in seconds
Every enquiry lands on your phone as a text within seconds of them hitting send. Name, suburb, job, number. No app, no dashboard, no inbox to remember to check, no enquiry you find on Thursday that came in on Monday.
-
03
An instant reply to the customer
The second they hit send they get a message back with your name on it. Most trades take hours to answer, and half never do. You answer in six seconds, without touching your phone.
-
04
A control panel you will actually use
Change a price, swap a photo, add the job you finished yesterday, update your hours over Christmas. Plain English, on your phone, no code. You are not ringing me to change a number.
-
05
Your Google Business Profile, handled
Most of your work comes off the map, not off the website. I set the profile up properly, keep the photos and services current, chase the reviews, and point the whole thing at the site.
03The work
Seven sites.
Seven trades.
One month.
Nextep is new. I built these seven in July for real Queensland businesses, off their real Google profiles, their real photos and their real reviews. None of them have signed yet, so every shot below is the actual build with the name, the logo and the phone number cropped out.
The layout, the photography, the type and the colour are untouched. The palette under each one came off that business's own signage. Ask and I will send you the live link to any of them.

Why they all look different
Seven trades, seven palettes, seven layouts. Every one of those colours came off that business's own signage, logo or van, and every photo is theirs. That is the whole job. A website that could be handed to the next bloke in the same trade is not worth paying for.
Twenty one colours. None of them mine.

04What it costs
Two thousand to build.
One fifty a month.
To build it
$2,000
One payment. Design, words, photos, build, launch, and your Google profile set up properly on the way through.
To run it
$150/month
Hosting, the lead system, the instant reply, the control panel, your Google profile kept current, and changes when you want them.
That is the whole price. No setup fee, no page count, no charge per lead, no upsell at month three.
Written down,
so nobody argues later
This is every dollar. There is no per lead charge, no page count, no tier you get pushed onto once the site is up. If I ever quote you something that is not on this list, hold me to this page.
- Year one $3,800 $2,000 to build it, plus twelve months at $150.
- Every year after $1,800 Twelve months at $150. The build is already paid for.
- To walk away Any month No lock in contract. Give me a month and we are done.
You are probably already paying a lead directory. I am not going to quote you their prices, because they change and I would get them wrong. Two things about them are worth saying out loud. The whole product is that the customer gets three quotes, so the job you paid to see is sitting on two other phones at the same time. And the day you stop paying, you are back to nothing with your name on it. That is the difference. Not the money.
A directory can absolutely work out cheaper than me, especially in the first year. If it is filling your week, keep it, and do this as well or not at all. I am not affiliated with any of them and I am not asking you to cancel anything.

I look at your Google profile and at what the other blokes in your suburb have online.
You get an email back with what I would build, what it would cost and how long it takes.
If it stacks up we start. If it does not, you have lost an email.
